Standard policies in the bike industry is once the item has been installed, nobody will take it back because it is no longer sellable. I understand where Samson is coming from. We tried to resolve the situation, but it is what it is and there is nothing more we can do.
The customer could not tell if the mufflers he got were baffled or not before he installed it. It is a tough situation, but we plan on making it up to him.
Hopefully, he can sell his set to a forum member and we will then step up and offer him the 39" BAFFLED Cholos to him at our cost. This is the least we can do for his troubles.
No need to blame Samson here, guys. They are a great company to deal with, but nobody will take mufflers back after they have been installed and ran on a bike. It's just the way it is.

Either way, we will get it all worked out. I just want everyone (my customer and the manufacturer to be happy. We will get it all worked out...eventually, and as always I apologize for problems and work until I get them resolved.
This situation is what it is. I would rather not deal with it, but I will not rest until it is sorted out. As i was discussing it with my wife last night over dinner she was telling me I was too obsessed with my job.
And here is to a Merry Christmas to all parties involved!

Sounds like all you need is the mufflers (Part #: S-238). Phat has them for $340. Drew might have a better deal. Leave the headpipes on. Let me know what model you have. It sounds like Part # S2-438. If your mufflers will fit on my system, I'll take the mufflers off your hands. I sent you a PM with my number. Feel free to call tonight.
PM sent...again. Not sure where you got them, but sounds like you got took. I find them on the internet all day for between $305 and $322 w/ free shipping.
Sorry Drew, not trying to step on any toes. I was responding to his statement:
"I letting them go for $350.00.(Shipping not included) These pipes are brand new. Please understand I paid $434.00 for them. So I think this a real good deal."
Not such a good deal. He can get them at DollarRider.com shipped to Honolulu, HI for $348.79. (That's $305.96 for the mufflers and $42.83 shipping)
Just saying. No hard feelings and much respect brother.
Braddah I dunno where you finding these pipes for $302.00 and free shipping. Please share the site. As for Dollar Rider their price is $359.96, not including shipping.

You can always find really cheap deals all over the internet, the difference is with the guys at Dr. Vtwin give great service and always go out of their way to help you out. They have responded to certain requests which many other companies won't willing to do for me. I'm willing to pay a little extra knowing I'm being looked after. Plus I want Drew to get an average wage rather than immigrant wages.
