Kinda seems to me that the Heartland kit with the strut replacement may be more stable and sturdy? I may be off base because I haven't seen them in person. The HL kit struts just bolt right into the old screw holes and attach to the fender I think.
I know that I do like the shorter HL fender though. However, I am sure the RWD are sweet too.
Anyone get the RWD kit with short fender? Trying to find pictures of it now...I think I am pretty sold on buying the Heartland kit, but didnt wanna drop that kinda loot on just a seat and fender basically. But looks like thats the only way I am going to get the look I am after!
Keep posting up pics guys! Looking to buy in about a week or so! So any pictures of each that you guys have and any insight would be greatly appreciated!
I have the EZ200 kit and aside from the fact that you HAVE to lower the bike 2" for it to look right (which is NOT indicated ANYWHERE in the instructions), you won't regret it.
I thought about the RSD Tracker kit, but found out (which, again- is NOT indicated by RSD- you have to ask...) that when you get the fender, it only fits with their solo spring seat... which in turn, only fits with their tank... get the picture?

rwd makes heartlands fenders.the struts are just welded to the fender. And alot cheaper here are a few pice of fender with 2 up option.any questions ask.
If you don't like where your reach is before you do the HL kit or after all you have to do is loosen the clamp bolts on the risers and turn each bar back to where you like them. Make sure both sides are even when you tighten them and adjust the controls. If you do this you can get the bars back by 2 to 3 inches.

Hey Mike, is this the short fender kit you did? Bike looks nice too btw.
