I'm pretty sure the rocker boxes, lifter covers are polished almn, that's pretty standard (atleast I have polished on mine) I'm more interested in the Primary, cam, trans, covers probably going to sell the other peices.
I've never seen polished primary covers, or cam, and trans.. they look chrome in the pics.
The only thing I'm not sure about is the part above the trans cover, doesn't look familiar (2nd row from left on top.)
Running polished is a matter of taste. I happen to be one that loves the look of polished over chrome, It has a nice warm, homey feel to it, and anyone that looks at it will know what you went through to get it looking that way. Call it old school chrome. The only people that might give you crap about it are the ones with deep pockets and absolutely no talent or creative insight (rub's).
Polished makes a statement
Well, I talked to the seller, and it is all polished, said it was OEM on a FLST, I wasn't aware that HD bikes shipped with polished covers over chrome. Either way it'll be a nice upgrade from what I have now, maybe I'll have it touched up and clear powder coated to keep it nice and shiney.
