The one in his pic looks like the signature series one I have for when the wife wants a ride. The sundowner does not sit that low, IMHO. The sign. series seat has one HUGE pillion. Freaking ugly.
there are a few different versions of the sundowner. i have a 07 fatboy witha sundowner fatboy version. it has the same styling as the fatboy stock seat with the apron and the studs. there is also a smooth version. the fatboy version seems to look a lot better than the smooth version. the smooth version APPEARS a lot bigger...but in reality they are pretty close to the same size. i am 6'3" and i dont have a ny problems with feeling cramped...but i have floorboard extenders so i can stretch a bit.
the old lady refused to ride on the back unless teh sundowner is on. it is a very comfortable seat for your passenger. i like the feel of it...but i will be buying a one up seat for my solo jaunts
It is not the same seat. It is the smooth version. I borrowed it from my brother in law while waiting for my Mustang to come in. He had it for his Night Train. It really looks alot bigger in the picture than it did in person. I think it's the angle of the picture.
