Default Advice/Help Needed on 08 Softy

Hello, as a new member I would appreciate any advice on a few question I have.

I recently bought a wrecked 08 Heritage and as I already have a 00 Heritage I wanted to build this up as something different. I like the Heartland Kits but dont have that kind of money, so I'm leaning towards the Roland Sands Tracker or a Ness Taildragger.

I guess one of my first questions is how big of a tire can I put on my stock rear rim? There is a 150 on it now and most of the kits I see are set up for 180's or bigger. I want to use my stock rim, swingarm, etc., in an effort to keep costs down.

I like the looks of those bobber rear fenders and wide tire kits, but I really dont have a ton of cash to change out swingarms, wheels, belts, etc.

I like that RSD Tracker but does anyone know if it will work with a 150 and look good? Thanks.

Your stock wheel should be the same as your 2000. It's a 16x3 on the rear. On a 3" wheel a 150 is the widest tire recommended. With your stock fender you can change to a 4.25" wheel, but this will only allow for a 160 tire without other modifications. I hope this helps.
