Default Need some help...

First off, hope everybody had a safe New Years.

Okay, I've got a '07 Softail. Yesterday, I accidentally started it with one of the spark plug wires undone. It ran for about 30 sec and then died. I then realized that I left the plug wire undone, hooked it back up and tried to crank it and no go. It just keeps turning and turning and turning, but never catches to start.

I will admit that I'm not a mechanic, so I'm kinda stumped. Don't want to take it to the dealer...any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Marcus

It fouled the spark plug with gas. Remove the spark plug and let it sit awhile till the gas evaporates and then reinstall plug. Should fire up.

Maybe it washed the cylinder with gas and lost compression.Do you have a compression gauge?

Nope. I just re-read your post...when I let it sit overnight, I left the plug in. I should I take the plug out to let some air down in there to help evaporate the gas?

I'm assuming on the cylinder that was unhooked when I cranked it, right?
