Default Another Softbrake ?

Sorry for all the questions on an easy install, but I have one last one.

How the hell do you get the two bolts on the plastic fender cover and through the fender. I'm talking about the upper two bolts that held on the old plate bracket and plastic cover (underneath fender)

Besides that everything went pretty easy, except my brother chipping my paint (read in next thread)

A 1/4 inch ratchet did mine, however I had the bike up on a jack stand and not lowered at the time. Its a tight fit.

I'm not sure if I'm reading this right but do you mean the two holes left unused? Below top center are the two leftover holes I filled with silicone.

Page 7-31 of the '09 service manual shows a picture of the inside guard attaching at the top under a clip and a bolt securing it bottom center.

That's what I'm talking about.

Did you just use the one bottom screw to hold the plastic cover on under the fender?

Yup, slide the top of the cover under the clip on top and put the nut on the bottom.
