Default Front Fender Mis-Aligned

Anyone ever notice that the front fender isn't dead center on their Rushmore? I saw that it was a little off and just pushed it back to center. It doesn't appear to have damaged any paint and there is no bends of stress marks showing. Granted, it was only a 1/2" or so off so wasn't moved too much. I guess it's ok, it's stayed in the same place but wondering if this is common. It appears to be pretty easy to bend, like someone could walk by and accidentally bump it and it would move a bit.

I have pretty bad OCD and never saw the fender being off at all.

That's usually caused by the fork tubes not being perfectly parallel in the triple tree. Loosening all four pinch bolts (with the bike on a jack, of course) will let them spring back, maybe with a little wiggling if they don't do it on their own.

This seemed to be a fairly common complaint when the Rushmores first came out and some before that, too. Haven't seen anything about it lately, though.

The body man that did the body and paint work on our '64 Servi-car said every Harley he's worked on, the front fender has not been straight. He even showed me on my '14 Limited.

on the 14's + the top of the front forks do NOT have a stop like the pre 14's - with that said, it is possible to get on off just a bit - but not much or the axle will NOT be able to be installed.

My fender never fit perfect and with it lowered an inch in the rear, my ocd couldn't handle it. This is what I done to get it as close to the way I thought it should fit and it can be tweaked side to side.

That would make the tire and the fender off, wouldn't it? The bike does not pull to one side or the other...rides perfect.
