Because of a stupid accident last summer, I'm on my second set of StreetSlammers.
I liked those bars so much I replaced them rather than taking the opportunity to go for a different style or look.
The reason I originally bought them was because a guy at work had a set on his 2002 Heritage and I thought they looked great. He let me take his bike for a 20 minute cruise and I was sold.
Their not cheep and it's really hard to find them at a reduced price on Ebay. They are very heavy duty though and the chrome is top notch.
There are other bars out there that are a lot cheaper and have basically the same rise and pullback.
Good luck with your decision.
I agree on the price. I was going to go with another brand for the price but I waited on ebay and on here and got mine for $150.00 shipped from a member here in the classified section and they are in new/perfect condition. I have seen them on ebay in the $100+ price range also used but then again it is ebay and you never know what you will get.
I love my bars!! Not sure what brand because they came with the bike, but very comfortable! This is my first Harley but I remember my first ride on this bike with these bars I felt like Jesse James pulling down the road. They really give ya that kinda chopper feel!!
Just bought a set for mine, going to install over the winter. I have 6"pull back risers on the stock bars now, the sweepers will be an inch higher and pull back another inch I figure. Plus they will have internal wires a big plus
I have them on my 05' Fatboy they look good and are comfortable and have got a lot of compliments on them, however I think i'm going over to the "cool" kids and join the the ape hanger crowd.
Thanks for all of the comments. It appears that everyone likes theirs. It is nice to know that the cables are long enough. Thanks for that input Alien spyder.
