I"ve had the sears red jack for about two years now and its worked well for me. My buddy also had a sears jack but its the yellow one and we both have had great service with with our jacks. I think sears makes a good jack for the money.
My Sears jack worked great for 2 years. Then it broke leaving my bike in the air. After I finally got it down, I dragged the POS Sears jack to the curb and bought a J&S.
Sears red was complete crap. I had it for 15 mins, and the hydraulics stopped working. I was lucky the bike was on the ground. that piece of **** went back to sears in a hurry, and I got the yellow jack instead. Had that for a year, so far so good.
I used my j&s about five times and it left my bike in the air, don't blame them though I just got a bad bottle jack, every one I know with the sears jack seems to be okay with it for the money
