Default Fatboy lo

Just got a fatboy lo recently and was wondering what my opitions are.

I'm thinking about exhaust, new bars, and maybe new rims.

where did you guys start?

Im picking up my Lo tommorrow, my third Harley. Ride it for a while and figure out what you like and what you want to change to make it more comfortable. Then go for performance.

Good luck! Once you start mods it never stops, it's an obsession! Take a look at the Thread that Dave just posted, anything you want to know or could ever think up or ask is there.

As a matter of fact my guess would be the most mods on a lo in the world all in one thread.

All the lo owners at this forum are in there and if you have any questions AFTER reading through that any of us would be glad to help.

Start with the bars! Your back will love you for it. Then...oh there's so much more...

Congrats on the scoot. And good luck.

I started simple on the mod side. Smoked lenses, layback license plate, removed the reflectors and bitch seat, digital oil dipstick, chopper bag.

As far as performance, I have yet to do anything. Its bone stock for now. There are so many options out there, I can't ever make up my mind on anything.

My next investment for sure will be intake, exhaust, and fuel management. Leaning towards V&H intake and exhaust with PCV.

Then on to new controls and powder coating.

Primer stay away from here. Ones you have done one thing, you will be come a addict. Then the cheapest thing would be that you bought the low. I see a lot of these guys in our weekly AHD meetings. It always starts like this. Hi I'm Paul i'm a HD customizing addict. ;-)

Good luck on the scoot. My first change was bars, grips and risers for more comfort. What a change that made.
