1100 Miles in 2 days (Pics)
This was my first REAL road trip on my Rocker.
The Journey took us from Abu Dhabi, UAE to the capital of nearby Oman and through a number of valley and mountainous roads to an East coast town called 'Al Ashkhara'
The weather was amazing and the overall trip was great.
Me on the Rocker as we set off on the trip:
It got dark pretty soon and we continued driving through through the night to Muscat where we got some shut eye and started again in the morning..
My Dad preparing his Road King for the day ahead:
Some nice view points on the way up the mountains:
On the way down the mountain you can see the Arabian Sea on the horizon:
Through the valley:
A geological site where an asteroid supposedly hit millions of years ago..
The journey continues:
We reached Al Ashkhara at sunset and this is the last photo i took before we started on our trip back the following morning:
I got some good riding experience on winding roads on this trip and as usual more ideas on what to add to my ride.

Cool pics! I love the asteroid hole filled with water. Very cool. It sounds like you ahd a great time. I guess you stored your luggage on the road king? Best of both worlds for you.
