Default Spring seats
I have a 99 Fatboy, & have been contemplating gettin a spring seat to put on it. They look kinda cool, but look like they might let you bounce up & down alot. Anybody run one of these & have any opinions on them?

I like mine a lot. No bouncing either...

I love my spring seat. I think it looks killer and I haven't had a single problem with bouncing or anything of that nature.

The seat and the springer front end were the reasons I bought my Cross Bones. Some disagree, but that is why Harley makes 31 different models.

Sounds like I'd better keep lookin. I missed a complete set up yesterday on ebay by $3.00. It was a LaRosa seat with the chrome piece that covers the battery & everything needed to mount it & it sold for $113.00 plus $16.00 shipping. Thanks guys.

Trash Rat, guess I owe you a beer man....I got that seat! I had been looking for a Spring seat set-up and just happened to see it hit Flea-Bay about 5 hrs before it ended...Sorry man, glad I got the seat, sorry i beat our a forum member to get it :-(

I've ridden 8+ hours in this saddle. No comfort problems at all. In fact, it's very comfortable. No bouncing either...even with the 2" scissor springs.

Love it...would NEVER change it.

Give it a shot, worst case you don't like and resell it online.
