Look at the Touring Section, I see a lot of Street Glides out here running Apes. Looks Ok I guess if you like it. It doesnt make a lot of sense to me though since one of the benefits of a fairing is to keep the wind off the bars and arms.
I like no windshield best with apes, but the clear windshield up close to a set of apes looks good to me and is no really noticeable from a distance
Type in "Bagger Apes" under Google images. There is about a million and a half pics. If you use a fairing all the time, I'd go with a bagger ape. It's made to curve back to clear the fairing and then goes up.
So THAT'S where the pics are. Thanks. I think I'll wait til I can scrape up the money to get a Wide Glide or Sportster as my back-up, around-town bike to get the apes.
Xaran is right, apes don't make much sense with a fairing, even though the MS comes off quick. I'll have to tamp down my ape fever for a while...
