Thanks, everyone! Apes are very cool, I wouldn't know which to get. I'm going with beach bars, I don't want the bike to look to badass! Lol. The reflectors will be gone very shortly.
I have been inspired by everyone on here who are adding and doing their own things to their bikes... Great things going on! Keep on modding!

i've been thinking about getting it done for months now, seeing pics of your Lo with it on has put me over the top
why is BDL so much cheaper than the others though? is it still a quality product? did you have to extend your floorboards out?
guess i'll do some more research

What the benefits of an open belt drive over stock besides looks? Look very dangerous and mechanical. I like that look a lot!!!!!

(i) lower rotating mass (ii) the enclosed belt drive brings the mass of the primary closer to the centerline of the bike for better balance ... a couple of benefits that sold me ...
I think BDL, a well established industry player, is willing to give the buyer a good value ... I think some of the vendors have just been trying to get whatever price 'the market will bear' ... and, when you had a frenzy of outrageous high-dollar choppers a few years back, I guess people were not loath to drop 2-3 large or more for a belt drive ....
I got my setup (enclosed belt drive) for under 550 (forget actual amt paid just now) ....
