I have agree with everyone else...Apes just wouldn't look right IMHO....Take your time and try to get some looks at other scoots at a rally or something to get some ideas..Great looking bike!!!
More imortant than looks would be how it felt riding with them. I rode a heritage the other day with factory handle bars and to me it was way uncomforable. cant spell the word for comfy. it sucked. mabie you might ride some ones bike that has the apes on it to make a decision.[8D]
No offense to clammy, but IMO drag bars looks far better than apes on a night train. Apes look confortable, but drag bars kick some @ss.
I would take handlebars with some risers and pullback.
None taken. Different strokes for different folks.
Since I bought my bike to ride as much as possible, even if I liked the drag bars (which I didn't), I would have had to change them out. My back was done after a couple of hours being hunched over them.

I agree with you clammy.
I just figured out that maybe some pull back in some T-bars would help avoiding being "hunched over " like you are in some sort of levitation (that is the first impression I have).
I have never tried Ape hangers. Maybe I should.....javascript:void(AddText(''))

What kind of music do you play?
I find apes to be VERY comfortable, as long as they are the right height for the person. For me, the 13"ers I recently put on my Train are perfect. I'm in a very comfortable riding position and don't have any numbness in my hands or strain in my shoulders.
I play Metal!
I play bass in an old-school Speed Metal band named Exciter. You can check out a fan website HERE, and if you Google us, you'll get a lots of hits.
Um 13" inch apes are a little small arent they? Even 15s are a lttle small. How can you have Ape HANGERS if your hands are lower then you, your obviously not hanging. Id stick with the drag bars on that cycle if I were you though, looks good.

Well, as I said earlier: different strokes for different folks.
The 13s, for ME, are perfect. They put my hands at just below shoulder level. I'm not overly tall, and I like to be able to ride my bike for hours in relaitve comfort. I'm not interested in having to stop every hour so that the feeling can return to my hands, or being all stretched out.
