Was able to sit on the sedona orange and black one here in san diego at the local dealership- they are doin the "grand" unveiling friday nite.

Even the manager commented that they should have gone with the sidemount license plate.

He also commented how the dynas are "better" looking and better priced than the blackline.

Also looking at the bars and speedo/idiot light set up, prob have to "ditch the speedo/idiot lights" before changing the bars.

The one that i sat on with "abs and alarm" ($1200 more) was right around $18k here in california.....

For $18k there are so many better options than that bike in my opinion.

In this economy, the MOCO is STILL charging $18+g's for a Softail that they KNOW folks will begin customizing almost immediately. Wow.

Glad mine's paid off...

I'm just not feeling this bike at all. I think it's fugly, not even much of a platform to start with at 15-18k should have keep the bones they sold better than this will I think. I hope I'm wrong for their sake

How long until we see the first post from a Blackline rider asking about how to fit a 200mm rear? It won't be long..

The black springer would really be cool unfortunately the only ones you can find are junk *** chinese ones (and they are crapola!).
My biggest gripe with any motorcycle that H-D comes out with doesn't have a unique exhaust system at all. It's like they design a bike and roll it out and have a guy get an exhaust system from their pile current (in this case) Softail models. Sure they tried a 2:1 on a Touring platform, really did they think EVERYONE wanted a bagger with just one muffler? Not hardly. Now... back to the Blackline.
This bike has WAY too may different finishes going on. They really need some fresh eyes up there before they send something like that out the door.
For the most part, It's a really cool bike, I love the stance but for a Softail buyer, It's 15995.00 plus yada yada yada and then you gotta take it home and change lots of stuff to really make it look, well....."right"
Oh yea... that license plate bracket : OMG! WTF? really!!!???
