I am looking for a Oil Temp Stick for a 2010 Lo , stock one has a stick on it that is 4 1/2 inches long.....only thing I can find in the Temp version is 2 3/4. I don't think that is gonna cut it.......any ideas or points in right direction? Thx in advance.
HD does have a LCD oil temp/oil level dipstick just like the touring bike one. Its in there catalog in chrome or black. Its 139.95. been waiting to get it for my Lo. By the way, your dealer should give you the big HD parts catalog if you ask, especially if you bought the bike from them. I get one everytime a new catalog comes out. NO Charge. Hope it helps.

Damn skippy. I already got one on my bike. Looks good. I like it. And with the temp readout, you know when the bike is warmed up on the cold days.
I don't know who's bright idea it was to put a chrome oil dipstick on a black oil tank.....
If you need, I will pull the bike out and snap a photo of it on the bike so you can see....
Looks like I am going to give you a reason to pull out the bike and camera......Thx!!!!
I'll snap a photo of it tomorrow....supposed to rain all day so I may not pull it out to take the shot....but I will get a close-up of it and post it up for you.
It just cleans up the look and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.
