Default 16" or 18" apes

Going to order apes for my 06 fatboy and was curious if anyone had an opinion on the size. I'm looking at either 16" or 18". I'm 6'3" and riding on a badlander seat.

I'm 6'1" and run 16s and they are right at my shoulders.
I love them. If I was 6'3" I would have probably gone with 18s.

Need to got sit on different bikes with different set up to be sure.

Hope this helps

I'd go with 18's....I'm 6' tall on a stock Heritage seat and have 16" Wild 1's (positioned veritcally) and they're right at shoulder height.

I went with 14" x 1.5 carlini gangsters they are known to run a little taller so with the riser they are more like 16" I'm 5'10" and with the bare bones seat they're above my shoulders.
At 6' 3" you'll probably want to go at least 18"s.

Thanks for the input! I went ahead with the 18s, I'll get them in a few weeks and I'll know for sure at that point

I am only 5'6 and run 16" with 1" rise.... you may need to run 20" plus 1" risers. 18"plus 1" riser maybe not enough. My bro runs 22"+1" Rise he is 5'10"
