Default 36.5" Beach Bar cable length??

Well Im in the process of changing out my 12.5's for some 36" beach bars. I spent some time doing a search for the correct cable length but came up empty handed. Can anyone with 36's tell m what size cables your running? Thanks for the help fellas.

Santo,

I'm researching the same thing, it's kinda frustrating. Some guys say +2 then I've read +4...and some stock length. Specifically are you using the WO550's and the 1.5" risers? That's the setup I'm looking at.

I just used my stock cables on my xbones and they fit fine. I don't know the lenght but it's someplace to start.

Santo, I had a dude just PM me last night for that and I sent him all the measurements for 36" bars on a fatboy, but I can only remember the clutch was 67" long. I'll post the other lengths for you later today, I have em written down at home.

+2" for beachbars.... If you give Hill Country Customs a call they will tell you what cables sizes are needed for most bars ... apes or beachbars.... +2" for most beachbars and +6" for most apes.

I had the same problem, I put the bars on first and then ran 1/8" rubber tubing (cheap) to get the exact look and measurement I wanted. Cost me a little time having to wait on the cables, but was worth it.

Ok bro, 57" clutch, 46" brake, 36" to 38" both throttle (hard to measure the throttle because it's under tank, but I'm not far off). Pull back on my bars are 15 1/2" from center risers and 36" wide. As per Jim's pm.

Thanks, again Jim! Can't wait to get started on these when I get home.

Not sure what I'm missing but the stock clutch cable on the deluxe is 62 11/16" (as per the Magnum Sterling website)
