Chop it!!! Just my opinion. I went back and forth also and mounted it to see what it would look like as a full fender but didnt think it fit the style i was going for. To each their own but if you do chop it you will want to run an airride kit or at least drop the rear suspension 2" to look right. The main reason i went with the chopped fatboy fender over a custom fender was to keep the stock fender struts so i could ride 2 up and still have the sissy bar for the wife. Good luck and put up some pics when shes done.
Something else to keep in mind is that if you chop it you will need to spend extra cash on a side mount plate holder and new setup for your brake light (built into the side mount plate or Run/Stop/Turn signal adapter with red tun signal lenses)
I am leaning toward full length, and black 33" fishtails, I am thinking of taking Drew and the Cali boy's "SoCal Style" and blacking it out.....
During this Kosovo deployment I may be going on, I plan to order a shotgun shock set up while I'm there which will help with that look...

Rowdy, your ride is one of the reasons I started the hunt for this fender to begin with....yours is one of my favorite Crossbones on here, along with cheesecake's and a few others....
Glad to hear you like it, i'm in the same boat of having the itch to run true duals but with the chopped fender i dont know how they would look. You going to Nationals this year with the CVMA?
No didnt make FL but Colorado sounds to good to miss. Think we have about 1200 miles to cover but dount we do it in 1 day, probably make a 2 day ride out of it.
