Anyone know why a 12" wide Dyna seat won't fit on a Deluxe? The Deluxe seats are listed as being 12" wide and the same seats that are listed for the Deluxe work on Dyna's.
Looking to get a 2011 Deluxe Rootbeer color and think a seat something like this would look good on it. Might just have to have a custom seat made.

The reason a Dyna seat won't fit a softail is that they have different frames.

Got to agree with Drew. Had a couple of old seats from a Dyna and they would not work on her Deluxe as a result of the frame configurations. She had the stock Deluxe seat reworked for a very reasonable price and she is very happy with the result!
