Deluxe Seat
Sorry if this has been covered before:
Will the '09 Softail Deluxe seat fit on an '09 RKC? If not does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes that style seat for the RKC? I like the look of the deluxe seat and think it would compliment the styling of my bike.

I do not believe that it will fit. The Touring bikes went to the 6 gallon tank in 08. this changed the seat attachment configuration so that the slot is now on the seat, instead of the oldewr ones with the slot on the bike. The Deluxe and otehr softails still use the older style attrachment.
As for gettijng a seat to compliment your bike... have you considered having one custom made on your seat pan? I am looking into having one done over this coming winter. There is a place not to far from me, that will measure me and the bike, and design the seat how I want it, then build it with the foan shaped to fit my measurements.

Thanks, that is what I was figuring. It could not be that simple since I really like the seat on the deluxe. The next closest seat was the Sundowner solo HD offers but I guess it is only for the '08's and prior. Thanks for the input and the link, I will check them out.
