well i just called boston harley and asked them about DNA wheels and the tube situation.
Harley bike with stock spoked wheels HAVE tubes in them.....
So i dont understand why anyone would buy spoked rims without putting tubes int he wheels. Its comes to a matter of safety and Harley puts tubes in spoked tires in factory.
So there is the answer for that. Why sacrifice not running tubes when the HD motor company runs them from the factory.
The advantage to running tubeless is that if you do get a flat in the middle of nowhere you can plug it and fill it. If you get a flat with a tuber you will a new tube at the very least.

Yep this is true ... but with the 90/90/21's on a 3"+ wheel does it matter... These tires are stretched pretty well on that size (3'+) wheel... and i don't see fixing one anyways on the side of the road... Maybe unless some McGuyver stuff is happening....lol...
Other words their is a nice size gap between a 90/90/21 and a 3"+ wheel to hit the beed good enough... On the side of the road....

On a 21x3 with a 90/21 on it you need to run a tube so there is no point in sealing it as the tire is stretched so far. I forgot to mention that.
Yes sir,,, i actually don't get why some people run a 90/90/21 stretched on a 3"+ wheel tubeless... lol... I actually did it myself for about a year or so... Then i got smarter.. (yes i still stupid but...lol)... and run tubes now... My logic is you would think you would want to run a tube to give the tire a little more reinforcement against the beed.... Not to mention i'm runnen DNA's and they go flat if ran tubeless!...50/50 shot at it...lol.. atleast fat spokes do...
Yep i've read about several different brands going flat while runnen a stretched on 90/90/21 on a 21"er .. 3"+ wheel ... Even Ride Writes.... He should of ran tubes regardless!
It actually looks like that guy is runnen a 120 on there... Regardless RUN TUBES!
