I have a 98 fatboy and I'm bout to put 16" ape hangers and I'm wondering if I can use a 2000 and up cable kit or if it has to be the earlier one if I can't wats the differance between them? Hope someone who rides and reads this can help me. Thanx

You have an evo motor and in 2k they switched over to the twin cam. I know visually the buttons are different but I don't know about the wiring itself. I'm pretty sure the older bikes use dot 5 while the newer use dot 3 for brake fluid.
