I you have a great dealer. He will install it for you. First talk about future mods and that you have a problem with the Softbrake taillight. But you would had loved to buy him from him, but that it isn't a HD part.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but what have folks done to illuminate the plate with the softbrake kit? L.E.D. plate frame?

Its not that bad...As many I did mine without a jack as well. Its a tight fit, but definitely worth it.

some use the custom dynamics plate frame, others use the radiantz plate frame. nice clean setup

I used two L.E.D plate bolts. I think it looks a little cleaner

I did mine on the stand, it's a pia but doable. Later I removed the rear fender to drill for the fender rail and cursed myself for not doing it that way with the softbrake.

Dog hair no offense but if you need to take the fender off for that ya shouldnt play with sharp objects hahahahahaa jay kay.

Has anyone install this kit on a heritage? If so what did you do with the plate holder holes. I like the look of the plate lower but will have to find something to fill the holes.

Not a hard mod at all, just a bit of a tight squeeze getting to the bolts on the inside fender. Well worth the effort - you will be happy with the final result.
