Just did the Softbrake relocation and Custom Dynamics LED license plate frame last night. It really wasn't anything that hard about it. A little time consuming and patience testing BUT....got her done. Hardest thing was the wiring IMO. Drilled a hole thru the license plate and the chrome backing place for the LED wiring....shrink wrapped it and wired it up. Never could get splicers to wk so....well it works great now! I'll take a pic in the next few days...
now just to put this out there and see if anyone has done this before knowing I am not that confident in doing this myself using the soft brake kit worried I will loose a nut in the process and say screw it all I was thinking if I were to use this http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/665...urn-Signal-Bar and the soft brake tombstone cover should do the full job relocating the plate and lighting it up and all I would have to do is make a couple wiring connections and remove the light bar bolts it looks easier but will run me a little more which I am not to worried about so long as it works. any one else tried this
I could be wrong but I believe you will still have to buy the new tombstone from softbrake because you will have the reflector mount still in the oem. Don't be intimidated, once you get it done you'll know how to fix it if it ever breaks
