Having the coil pointed upwards, will you need to swap the wires around in the wiring harness...

Or is that only if you leave the coil pointed down?

i didnt have to change anything... one to one extension.

i think you have to swap if you have them coming from the bottom and dont want the cables to cross.

Cool. I'm gonna start looking into this process and what all it will entail to relocate the coil and the horn to another location.

Not gonna happen right away...but at least I will be prepared when I get there.

It is easy if yoiu have access to a work shop. You do not need the tank completely off either just enough to hide the wires in the back bone. I double checked everything before I put shrink tube on it. I did not have to swap any wires at all. Soldering was easy.

I went to my local shop guy that used to work on my bike and got some color matching wires to help along the way.

Thanks Quirch

I have other mods in the line-up first. Like pipes, intake, and PCV. Then Dyno tune. Then 1000 mile service. The off to get some powdercoating done.

Its in the works. I am going to look at the brackets offered online, and see if I can't make one myself that is better.

I really like the look of the Coil so I am not going to cover it. If I had a nice bike yours I would cover the ugly coil but it flows with bike I think.
