Default Fork Springs
I'm getting ready to have my 08 Night Train fork tubes powder coated & while I am there I was wondering if I should swap out the springs with some Progressive spings. What do you guys think? The bike only has 1300 miles.

I would if its going to be all apart this is the perfect time.Plus they are pretty cheap.

I did that and switched to the heavier screaming eagle fork oil. It was a big improvement.

I noticed that there are a couple different kits? How do I know which one is the correct one? I want to keep the same height in the front.

there should be two that you can consider. the lowering kit and the standard progressive spring kit. if you want to keep the stock height, use the standard kit.

I used the standard replacement Progressive part # 11-1131.

If you are not lowering it and just want to replace the springs with the Progressive replacement spring # 11-1131 I have a set that ill sell for $ 30.00 including shipping.

We tried the powder on the tubes once and it didn't last.It wore fast in the travel area.Black tubes need to be black chrome.

What about anodizing them black?
