Well I picked up my first Harley on Saturday. I've been riding for many many years but never owned a Harley and now I am the proud owner of an 06 Night Train (Black Cherry Pearl) Would've rather had the Black Pearl or Black Denim but for the price and mileage I couldn't beat it. $9,000 5246 miles. Already has V&H Short shots, staggered in black and other accessories.
Today I ordered a Le Pera Bare Bones Seat. Tomorrow I am ordering a set of RSD 16" Vintage apes in Black. After that I really want to replace the rear wheel with a black spoked rim. Did some searching here but couldn't find much. Any suggestions on the best place to find a rear rim?
Would check with Drew Doc Vtwin he will be able to help you out with a wheel.
Is the bike sitting low enough for you? Might want to look into a Shotgun air suspension.
Congrats on the new bike. Someone beat me out on a 2009 Night Train on Saturday. Should have went up Friday night instead of waiting for Saturday. My loss.
