I got mine also and just have to install it. My dealer had a double points reward day on April 1. They posted on face book dove down and bought one it was in stock. They were back ordered for a long time.
Soooo, after reading this discussion, I had to go out and buy this today. This was extremely easy to install. It took me no more than about 20 minutes to do. The data transferred into the new speedometer in seconds without a hitch.
It took me longer to decide what color to make the displays than install this thing.
I absolutely love that speedo! I gotta do some more research to see what's out there for my 07 Deuce. I do have a question, tho, for those of you have swapped already. Can you change the brightness of the colors, too? May seem weird, but on my stock speedo when I hit the brights and the blue hi beam indicator comes on, it's actually so bright that it's sometimes distracting while I drive. And with my bike being a cobalt metallic color, I'm going to go with a blue for the backlight when I get my new speedo/tach unit. I just don't wanna spend the coin on a sweet new speedo and have the brightness blast me in the face like a hollywood spotlight when I hit the hi beams.
Does anyone know for sure if you can run this speedo/tach with a Thundermax. I email Randy at Zippers and he said that he had one customer saying the 6th gear light didn't work, but that was some time ago and he never heard back from the guy. Anyone using one with a Tmax?

Opencaliber, I'm fairly certain that the gear indication 1 - 6 or 6th gear light will not work with the Tmax ECM because the gear position is calculated in the stock ECM and displayed by the gauge.
Thanks! I'll keep track of that thread. If the sixth gear light works with the Tmax then that's fine with me, since that is all that I have on mine now.

I am probally the one that told Randy at Zippers that only the 6 works and the built in fuel gauge does not work (shows full all the time).
I been doing some digging, although HD does not want to talk to me since I have the Thundermax I did manage to get an email from them saying that the ecm does send the gear and fuel to the speedo so the Thundermax is preventing the information from going through.
HD also asked for my VIN so they could block it from warranty (wtf - like I'm going to give it)
I had a few conversations with Randy at Zippers and I think they will get things talking.
Here is a copy and paste of his last email to me:
"We have ordered one of these speedometers and will doing some testing asap. I will contact you with the results"
As for everything else on the speedo, it works great with the Thundermax.
