I shouldn't say no 23mm anything, there must be, but nothing on a harley or any german car! and I just looked at the year of your bike and you have the smaller sensors, not sure they are still 22mm, as I haven't had to put a wrench on those yet

I know they make a wrench size of 23mm, but as a mechanic for more than 40 years on mercedes, bmw and other import cars, I have never seen anything thats a 23mm, I am sure that somewhere something may be that size, thats why I said the disclaimer, however I am pretty sure that 23mm is a very obscure size for any fastener. thanks for the info on the '10 o2 sensor size, that is the small one right? wasn't sure if they changed hex size on the small sensor

I will swing by the tool store one day this week and let you know what size it is. Going to get the 22mm and see if that works.

Thx again for all the help.

I know for a fact that up to the 09 models they are 22mm, it has been standardized in the auto industry (sae) since the first ones were installed back in '80.Sugarbear says his '10 is also 22mm and that makes logical sense as to follow the sae standard, I just wasn't sure because of the physical size of the sensor itself

I don't know but that 7/8 o2 socket I have fits perfect. Normally I might be **** about getting the "correct" tool size but in the case of those o2 sensors I just take them out and am done with them. However I would have no reservation on using the same socket to put them back in if needed because like I said it fits them perfect. BTW 7/8" is equal to 22.23 mm.

I know that I've run Bosch Oxygen Sensor bodies in the past using 22mm Hex barstock 430F Stainless Steel. So I would believe your comment above about 22mm being a standard.

OK, I don't think there is any need to post 22mm anymore. WE GOT IT!
