Default Deuce headlight mounting question

I installed a Tradewinds "Concours" billet headlight on my Deuce. I used a Headwinds mounting bracket that actually required me to mount the headlight a little lower than the stock light and positioned a little more forward from the forks.

After looking at a SE Deuce last weekend, I couldn't help but notice how much better it's billet headlight looked positioned further up than mine, and tucked in more between the triple trees. Was it the difference in mounts? It certainly was!

I found the HD mount. Its more upright than my present mount. Question is, will the HD mount work with my TWs shell? Do any of you know before I spend $41 to find out?

Default RE: Deuce headlight mounting question

I think it loos cool "as is", many of my friends that ride Deuces look up to that longer look with the headlamp.

I hope you find the info you're looking for.

Regards.
