Default exhaust help

My father just picked up a SE 16gauge double barrell exhaust for his 06 deluxe, the pipes came off of a 04 heritage, we were both under the impression that if the frame is the same then the exhaust should bolt right up, it doesnt. has anyone used these pipes on their bike? it looks like the stock deluxe exhaust bracket will have to come off and use a heritage one because the rear foot peg will have to be relocted too, any help.

Are they slip on or a full exhaust?

The frame might be the same, but the engine is different. The 04 Heritage is carbed and the 06 Deluxe FI, so the pipes don't have the o2 sensors.

The heritage doesn't have a shotgun exhaust either

Not sure if you were saying yours doesn't or none of them do, but some 06's are carbed and some FI.

I ment to say that his deluxe is fi but doesn't have o2 sensors, I think I'll just tell him he needs an exhaust bracket from a heritage for the pipes to fit
