Does your Heritage burn oil?
Mine does. Not a lot, but some. Bought my '06 about four months ago with less than 5,000 miles. I have to add a little oil about once or twice a month. Just wondering if this is normal?

if you have to add oil between oil changes because there's not enough oil in the tank, then I'd say you have a problem. If it's just a little down from the full line, but not to the add, then I'm sure you're OK. My '09 is never down to the point that I'd even consider needing oil between oil changes. Try getting a compression test done to start.
