Default there goes my plan...

Well, I picked up the fatboy lo covers and was going to get all the chrome on my springer in satin chrome to match the covers. Well, I found out tonight that the shock can't be powdercoated, because of the internals. There goes my whole plan for the bike...I wish I knew how C. Numb did the patina on his crossbones....I assumed it was powdercoat....

that's right, I remember that post now....that sucks....man, I was soooo stoked. I was going to drop it off with a local guy while I am in Africa for a few weeks next month and he was going to swap the covers and PC the front end and what ever other chrome he could get to....

thanks, I am not trying to replicate that patina finish, I only mentioned his bike because I had originally thought he had done at least part of the process with powdercoat.
