ok guys.... this should be this hard, but with 50's in the forcast i wanna ride. im having a bitchin time putting the speedo back in the console. the problem ??.... the rubber ring. anyone got any tips for this?? im suuuuper frustrated right now :-(
No problem......let me guess, everytime you try to slide the speedo back into the console the rubber ring rolls out the bottom?
1) Make sure that the groove in the rubber ring is fit into the console 360 degrees
2) Before you put the speedo into position squirt some windex/soapy water on the inside face where the speedo mates the ring......that will reduce friction and allow the two to slide together.
