Need some thoughts/opinions on Deluxe
She wants to add hard saddle bags. We were going to use the bags off of my Street Glide. How hard is it to mount the Harley bags to a Deluxe? She would need to change the exhaust to put the hard bags on. Any opinions on exhaust? Nothing too loud.
She would also like some typle of radio/stereo. Anyone use the new HD Boom handlebar mount speakers?
I am sure she will have more questions soon.
Thanks
Eric
Drew with DrVtwin is running the boom system I believe. Think there might be some youtube videos on that system you can hear how it sounds.
Can't go wrong with a Deluxe she will love it.

You will need a Bagger Tail mounting kit from Cycle Visions Install took me about an hour, taking my time to get the adjustment just right. I also added the filler strips, also from Cycle Visions.
I installed a sound system from Cycle Sounds Again, install was pretty easy. I mounted the Chrome Amp on the left side, just under the seat where the the front of the fender support is. I had to ream out the hole in the Amp mount, and used the existing bolt on the strut.
Both work well, although the speaker system could use a tad more volume at high speed, normal road riding has decent sound. She pairs it with a Ipod Touch, with the volume control mounted above her left switch housing. She runs a Cobra 2 into 1 exhaust
Here are a couple of pics

Don't need to relocate anything and there's a pretty good amount of space.

As far as moving your signals, I don't think you will on a deluxe as you have t hat narrow signal bar. I added the Cycle Visions Eliminator brake/plate mount/signals to my ride which gets rid of all the stock stuff and puts it all into one nice compact package. If you have questions about stuff free free to PM or email.
