Hey, Im new to HD's and was offered a 1993 Softail to trade even for my classic car. It has all been redone with about 3,500 miles on the new motor. Here is the info I got on it. Its got a 80 evo motor bored to an 88,delcron case, S.S Carb, Martin Brothers Pipes,180 rear tire wide glide front end 21 frt tire.. Looks good.. What would you HD enthuiast price somthing like this at?? I apriciate it greatly. I got a ton to learn.
Humm, I am no expert but a 1992 that has been overly customized would be worth around $5000-6000 in my opinion. That said I just paid $9500.00 for a like new 98 FB from the original owner with 20,000 miles.
What is your car worth and how bad do you want a bike is the bigger question?
The Bike is worth what someone is willing to pay and the same for your V.W.
This economy, I bet he wont be selling his bike anytime soon and I don't think your email is getting light up to buy the V.W.
that softail is worth 6-8k roughly..i think it is worth a little more then a beetle..even as a fully rebuilt show car, there is so many cheap custom parts aval, and so many doner vw's around it will only ever be a 5-7k car.and that is if its perfect.with some use it would be a 4k car,the softail will stay 6-7k even when used and dirty..i would trade if i was you..
