Go 07, bigger engine 96ci vs. 88ci, 6 speed tranny, "supposedly" better closed loop FI system. Unless they are going to give you one hell of a deal (like 4 grand off) on an 06, I say go for the 07.
I have said it before and ill say it again never buy any thing the first year like the new harley 96 there is sure to be mods made in the next year to correct all the bugs it happens every time
agree----I like the updates; but I want the updates with the bugs worked out of them

I agree with this, and if I was buying I would wait till next year. BUT.... If I HAD to buy right now, it would be the 07 without a doubt. 07's have a 6 speed which is one year old and working fine, and the 96" engine, although different, is not that much different. (longer stroke) So, if I was to buy a bike and could not wait for the 08's, between the 06 and 07, definetley the 07. Always go for the newset, resale will be better toward a 08 as well! Wish I had this problem for real!
