Default Bike is gone

Sold it yesterday. Got $1200 less than I paid almost 4 years ago. So pretty good. Now I am looking for a evo springer and using the extra money to start an ironhead project for me and my young boys.

I would say pretty good. I didn't have much in it. Cheap pipes, seat and bars. Nothing else. But I was bored and happy to move on. Once I get my new stuff I will post away for you guys.

I found a very clean 94 springer and I think I can get it for $7000. It has 14,500 miles. Stock motor. Just not sure. Would like to find something with some motor work but I can always pop a cam in it right away.

Yeah I wanted to do more to my old bike but just didn't have my heart in it. Plus I can really get my boys involved more this way and that is way more important than any bike.

Nice....I saw a lot of older springers on ebay the other day. My son is only 6. I am hoping to be able to get him into this kind of stuff. We adopted him. He is biologically my nephew. I am trying to flood him with "man stuff" becuse he kind of acts like a homo some times...lol

My dad got me into old cars when I was a kid (57 Fairlane and 66 Mustang). Just learning to use a drill or grinder or sockets make a world a difference in a young boys work skills. We basically plan to cut off the back end and put a hardtail kit and then go from there. It will be fun.
