Default Chrome vs. black pipes

So I've been pondering this decision for some time now. I've settled on the Thunderheader 2-1 pipes but can't really make up my mind as to chrome or black. I've a 2010 FXSTC and I'm leaning towards the chrome, but the black would really offset the choice of hand/feet controls and bring more attention to the engine. Just looking for some second opinions.

On the softail custom I'd go with chrome.

Maybe a picture of your bike might help others offer an opinion...

What color is your scooter? What mods have you done? Some pics would help us give you an honest answer.

Hard to say. Really depends on any "theme" you got going on. My default is black; easier to clean, but will have to touch up the finish some point down the road.

I agree with the others that color depends on your specific bike. I have black pipes on my bike and absolutely love them, would never use chrome.
