There's lots of proof that protective clothing makes a difference when you kiss the asphalt. I've done it twice, first in a normal jeans, the second time with leather pants. Each time someone else caused the accident. I'm doing my best not to do it again, but I've learned my lesson the hard way... Standard jeans are for a walk in the park!

If you're looking for good quality/price, go take a look in your nearest BMW Motorrad shop. They have good textile pants with kevlar and protectors for less than 200eur.
sorry about your bad luck man. Like bobber said they dont make us wear the **** here. im stationed in yuma and they could care less jeans and a long sleeve shirt. But i dont ever wear the long sleeve unless im on base.
