It has the stock front fender right now. I usually don't run one, but the bike had to get its yearly inspection so i had to put it on for that.

if you rounded out that flat part on the sides it might look better at that length..

+1 on just roll it down the front and re-drill, maybe think about re-cutting the radius to match the wheel.

I'd chop it. But rolling it forward and changing the mounting holes is a good idea too.
