Guy's,
I'm not quite sure what year FLSTF fuel tank I have here. I believe it may be a 1999, as there obviously is no center cavity for the fuel sending unit, and I'm told 2000+ tanks had the cavity. Can anyone confirm the year?
Also, can anyone provide a illustrated parts breakdown of the fuel gauge/sending unit components I need to restore the fuel metering ability (pic #2)?
Looks like a 2000...I had one exactly like it that I modified for use on a Sportster a few years back. I'm not sure what year they switched the sending unit to the plate in the top of the tank, but you should be able to use all the parts from a 2000 model on that one.
