Default turn signal problems

Help!! I recently purchased a 94 fatboy. Rode it for several months with no problems. The left signals then decided they wanted to "not flash." For no reason, they would then flash. This went back and forth and now they do not work at all. I thought it might be the switch. It has a hot wire going in so I jumped this to the wire coming out assuming all light on left side should come on. Nothing. I know the bulbs are OK becasue I jumped a hot wire to them and they work. I also jumped the wire coming out of the signal switch to a signal wire at the actual signal and when I push the signal switch it lights but does not blink. Please help if you can. This problem is driving me crazy.

Thanks,

David Oakley

Default RE: turn signal problems

It's possible that your turn signal module has gone bad. I don't know of an easy way to test it, unless you have a friend's that you can swap in to test...
