Nice KeeBee. Your neck and shoulders are from leaning forward to reach the bars and reaching down low. T bars or Apes will fix the problem. Which ones is hard to say as everyone is different. Email me and we can figure out what you need. As always, thanks for your business!
Great looking scoot! hey keebee what setup was causing the poping on decel? I'm looking at getting 2011 Deluxe and want those same pipes, but $ is tight so wanted to wait on tuner..
Not sure why it was popping on deceleration. Thought it was an exhaust leak but could not find one. It was running way too rich after putting exhaust on. There are a couple guys running around here with just the exhaust I have no tuner and no air cleaner without the popping. Take the bike you are looking at for a test ride. Make sure the bike is warmed up. It would pop more when it was hot. After doing the tuner and air cleaner the popping is gone.

Drew
It was really windy here yesterday so I know for sure I was really reaching more than normal. Going to take a few months to decide on handlebars want to make sure I get what is best for me.
Thx again for all your help will be bugging you soon enough.
For a test as to what affects your shoulders and back, sit on your bike with a broom handle and put your arms around shoulder height. Sit for 10 or 20 minutes and see what happens. I am all for people getting the right bars the first time. My experience is that leaning forward and reaching down hurts my back too. I'm going riding shortly so I'll talk to you later on.
man, if you get rid of the hub cap, it will look even cleaner.
if it were mine, next up would be apes and a chrome front end....
Planning on doing the wheels at some point. Don't know if I want to be brave enough to take my wheel off to take the dish out. Might have to look at the service manual and see how hard it looks.
looks real good i went with the diamond tuck seat to
I liked the way other softails looked with the diamond tuck. Looked like the route to go. Not that many of them had it as well. Got the brown thread to kinda tie it into the root beer color.
The front wheel is easy to remove. Put on jack. Remove caliper mounting bolts (10 mm 12 point socket) remvoe axle covers if you have any. Loosen axle pinch bolts on ehxuast side. Remove axle nut. Slide out. Wheel is off. The rear is a bit more work.
