what grips are you using, likes and dislikes, looking for a new set, does the rubber dampin the ride a whole lot?anyone using ness with the roller bearing in it.
You'll see a ton of people answering "Kuryakyn ISO grips", but I like my HD Stealth grips. I doubt grips really cushion any vibration, if its that bad, you have other problems.
I like these grips because the rubber ridges allow you to hook the meaty part of your fingers so that you can loosen your grip a bit.
I just ordered a set of grips from www.coolsac.com A chapter buddy got me turned on to them after seeing his. They're nice & fat with cushion. Can't wait to try them!
Yup... I rock the ISO's. Pretty nice grips. My only complaint, is after a couple years of use, they become tacky (sticky). I have to end up cleaning them with a cleaner & toothbrush. Other then that... I like 'em! I would like to try a set of black leather grips, but every set I have seen / felt, feel like they are made of crappy-*** leather and the stitching looks to have been sewn by a 3 year old.
I use the HD knurled black aluminum grips. I got them because 1) I thought they looked cool, 2) they have a relatively small diameter...I don't like big fat grips. I was a little concerned at first because they are solid metal with no dampening rubber but honestly I can't tell that it makes any difference at all...I never have hand fatigue or numbness due to vibration.
HD Diamondblack, fine with me. I always wear gloves so I don't ever feel heat on the metal grips, gloves have tacky rubber on the palms, so grip is fine too
