Default Different seat for Cross Bones?

I like the feel and the look of the stock sprung seat on my Bones but I'm wondering if there is a different seat out there for me. I like the comfort but the seat has me sitting really high on the bike. I'm 6ft so it's not an issue to be high up, I just like a lower stance.

Brettnbama has a good looking seat but I'm not sure what it is.

I'd like something lower but I don't want to sacrifice the comfort of that sprung seat I have. Any ideas out there? I'm tactile, so pictures help me a lot!

I'm thinking a solo seat but again, something like Brettnbama has would be mice too. Just wondering how comfortable it is for longer rides.

I had one made but the company is out of business, before I did it I swapped the 3" springs for 2", it made a pretty big difference.

That seat you have is the one that you had made I'm guesing. It looks very thin, but u seem to do some serious riding. I'm thinking with a sprung seat you can get away with it being thinner?

Where would I get the lower springs? This might be an option I'd consider. Also, what about the other sprung seat from the Harley site? That looks a lot lower.

Like I said, I love the sprung look, just want something that helps me sit IN the bike, not so much ON it.

You'll stop riding your street glide if you do! Fair warning! Lol and congrats!

I got the 1940's "tractor" seat from the HD accessories, brings you about 1" lower, and also much much more comfortable than the too soft stock seat.

This seat has the same seat pan as the stock one, but because it is thinner it also stops you from sliding of the back when accelerating.

I had the 2" springs, they're OK but they could bottom out on you.
Got mine from J&P Cycles:

You could also go for the Heavy Duty Scissor ones:

But I don't know if those need some modification to fit.

Even with the 2" spring and the tractor seat, you are still sitting on the bike.

I had the J&P 2" springs also and would only bottom out on major bumps, hardly ever, I think they were $20.00. The seat is actually more comfortable than the stock seat. 500 miles days I always used a gel pad or beads but now I don't, the shape has everything to do with it, the curved back takes off pressure, less weight on your butt. I weigh 200 so unless you are are lot more the 2" springs should be ok.

mine is the HD Badlander. It is the same seat that was factory on a Night Train. I had a Brawler solo, which has about the same position as the Badlander and you can get the passenger pillion. I should have gotten the pillion and kept the Brawler, because it looks like it would be better on my OLs a$$. But, I went to the Badlander because I am **** retentive and would have wanted to pull the passenger pegs off if I was running the solo seat and no pillion, and that would have gotten frikkin annoying....lol

I only weigh 200 also. Any idea where I could get a seat like that? I know you said the shop closed down, but who else makes custom spring seats that would be good for long days? And how much would I be looking to spend?
