Default OFFSET PASSENGER FOOTPEGS

Anyone fitted offset passenger footpegs to a Heritage? My wife complains of the position her legs are in on long rides, she has short legs.I am thinking of trying a set of adjustable offset pegs, there are a few varieties around that state that they are adjustable 360 deg. which would be good as she want them to be a little higher and a little further forward than standard on our 93 Heritage.Just looking for any thoughts from anyone that may have gone this route as I don't want to go to passenger footboards.

Thanks

Yes I have been hear also. One thing to look out for ( I learned the hard way ) is to make sure they have grooves or index type of lock at both pivot points. One earley pair I had did not. Although I had the loc-tite on . When my wife stood on the peg to mount up it slipped around and she fell. So inspect a pair in person and make sure they are mechanicly sound before buying. There are a lot of models out there. Hope this helps. My sweetheart now uses floorboards. Good luck.

Yes Jim I noticed a couple of types that didn't have anything to stop them rotating apart from the bolt through the middle.I just recieved the latest mini catalogue in the mail from Kuryakyn and they have a set in there that looks just what I am looking for,and yes they are able to be locked into position with a toothed locking device, and they are relatively well priced, especially that I have to take into account the exchange rate and the cost of airmail down here to Australia. But these are the things that must be done to keep the boss happy.

Cheers

I put these on my Heritage and they have worked out well....They are Kuryakyn and I bought them through Zanotti HD...they have the best prices on Kury stuff that I have found..
I already had the Pax boards so I had to also buy an adapter to use them, the come setup to use an OEM type male peg.
Gives the pillion a couple of options for their feet..

I've got a set from Kury.
Love em'..
More comfort for my wife, and there's no chance of getting shoe rubber on my pipes.

I believe that they work with the fatboy as long as you do not have the stock shotgun exhaust

I have the Kuryakyn adjustable pegs , and the wife and daughter love them, plus it lets you keep the stock position as well.
